My quote doesn’t need much explanation. Too often we let how other people act (or aren’t acting), what they say (or aren’t saying) affect our attitude and happiness. I myself have been guilty of this on many occasions and over the past few years, I’ve really learned the value in not letting other people steal my joy. Life’s too short to not live every day like it’s your last. So go make memories, do something you’ve never done, serve instead of expecting to be served, show someone kindness who may not deserve it, laugh a little harder, love a little deeper & whatever you do…don’t let someone else determine YOUR happiness.
The LORD is my strength and shield. I trust Him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. – Psalm 28:7
Even though powerful princes conspire against me, I fix my mind on what You require. Yes, Your testimonies are my joy; they are like the friends I seek for counsel. – Psalm 119:23-24
